Fletcher High AICE

Fletcher High School Cambridge AICE Program prepares your child for success!

AICE stands for Advanced International Certificate of Education. It is a prestigious course of high school study leading to early college credit, and it is comparable to the International Baccalaureate (I.B.) Program. One of the oldest universities in the Western World, the University of Cambridge in England (since 1209), sponsors and oversees the AICE program.

College credit will be awarded based on students passing rigorous examinations taken within a 13 month period, AICE papers will start sophomore year throughout senior year (13-month period for each course for paper assessment.)

AICE at Fletcher is not a magnet program. Only students who live in the Fletcher High school Service area (which includes Isle of Palms) or who qualify for one of the district mandated Special Exceptions may attend.

All AICE students need to submit their Honor Code (click here) to Mr Hester or they will not be able to take the AICE exams. Please note that these were sent out to parents home address. Fletcher High School will be hosting an Open House for all interested AICE students who live in the East Quadrant of Duval County Public Schools (Fletcher, Sandalwood, Terry Parker & Atlantic Coast) High Schools. To learn more about our Program please click for the presentation.

Our next Open House will be on Wednesday January 16th at 6;30pm in the Fletcher Auditorium.
